I had an amazing experience in my first course of human geo in high school. I could not have been any happier with who I had, and how he taught to us. He did a fantastic job band he is truly one, if not the, favorite teacher at jc that I have.  There is nothing that he could have done different with our class, and I think that the rest of my class will agree with me. We all looked forward to going to Human Geo because of how fun it was. Mr. Schick has one of the best personalities ever. Just the way he gets people pumped up for stuff that he is about to teach us is amazing. I could never have asked for a better teacher than him. So thank you Mr. Schick for being one of the best teachers I have ever had. Well that concludes all of the blogs that I will be doing for Human Geography. Therefore, farewell to all of my viewers, where ever you may be in this world. I will miss you and go check out my blog for Western Civilization. I hope to see you all again soon. Goodbye.

Today in Mr. Schick's class we watched the movie again and took a lot of much needed notes on it. He helped us out in terms of further explaining what Jared Diamond meant when he said certain
things. He also gave us a lot , if not all, of the answers on the upcoming test that we have on Friday. I think that I will do fairly well on it because I have paid close attention to the video and I have read over all of the notes that we have taken so far. I think that it will improve my grade some, and I may end up even getting an A if I do really good on it. Well that is what we did in Mr. Schick's class today. I will see you all on Friday.

Today in Mr. Schick's class we went over the movie that we watched yesterday. It helped me out a lot after he explained it and told us what was going to be on the test. It was actually a pretty fun class. I enjoy when we go over tests because we actually get a chance to go over the stuff that we are confused or having trouble with. Plus, we have a chance to say what we think the question or the notes mean. That is about all that we did in his class today. So overall it was a pretty easy day. Well that is all that we did in Mr. Schick's class today. I will see you all tomorrow.

Today in Mr. Schick's class we watched a video called Guns, Germs, and Steel. I found it to be a pretty interesting video because it shows you how the first civilizations on earth got by during droughts, ice ages, and global catastrophes. The man who was actually living in New Guinea, where the video took place at, is a man by the name of Jared Diamond, who is a professor at the University of UCLA. I think that it is amazing how good of hunter gatherers they are, and how they know what trees produce food such as the Sago tree. This tree provides pulp for the people to eat. I kind of agree with his theory that the people of New Guinea worked too hard on hunting and gathering instead of thinking of ways to produce things that would actually help them in the long run. I think that they should have begun farming like the people in the Middle East because then they would have had a surplus of food. That is why I agree with his theory. Well, that is all that we did in Mr. Schick's class today. I will see you all tomorrow.

Yesterday in Mr. Schick's class we went over the same PowerPoint that we have been going over for a couple of days now. We even briefly started the second section of the PowerPoint. I still find all of the stuff very interesting such as how they built the aqueducts and what made them think of the idea. I found that pretty cool. Also, 1 or 2 thousand years earlier people, had already come up with a sewage system. That just amazes me. What made them come up with the idea of if we throw this in there it will go some place else farther along. So it was basically the same old stuff. Well that is what we did in Mr. Schick's class yesterday. I will see you all tomorrow.

Today in Mr. Schick's class we did basically the same thing, look at the same exact PowerPoint that we looked at the day before. I still found it very interesting though. I actually found it very interesting to find out that Christopher Columbus was not the first man to discover America. I also found it interesting that the only reason that he called the Native Americans' Indians was because he thought that he was actually in India. I found that rather comical to be quite honest. I don't know why but it actually made me chuckle. We also found out that some guy is walking the path that all of the traders in the old days walked to all of the different starting areas of urbanization. I kind of want to join him. Well that is all that we did in Mr. Schick's class today. I will see you all tomorrow.

Finally, I have come back my blog. It has only been over two and a half weeks, but who was counting. So today in Mr. Schick's class we went over a PowerPoint that Mr. Schick found on the internet which was actually pretty interesting to me, maybe not to other people, but to me it was. I found it very interesting that over half of the world's population live in cities. That is one crowded area if you ask me. I don't think that I would like to live in the city because from what I have heard, there are some pretty rough areas around, and in, the city. That is why I would not like to live in a city with that many people in it. Well, that is what we did in Mr. Schick's class today. I will see you all tomorrow.
